Coaching is a creative partnership process aimed at helping you tune into and develop your existing strengths and abilities in order to enhance performance, improve self-esteem, ensure smooth life transitions, and ultimately allow you to live a more authentic, motivated, and inspired life of success and achievement.
As humans, we have immeasurable resources, intellect, and ability waiting to be tapped. You can use your unique strengths to unlock your potential and to bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.

You do! Everyone deserves a professional life that is fulfilling, challenging, and ultimately satisfying. If you’re not currently feeling that, then a coach will help you overcome obstacles that are getting in the way of you making the most of your current situation or discovering new opportunities that excite you.
Coaching is for those people who are serious about making changes to achieve their professional goals. The people who get the best results from coaching make a decision to have a positive attitude about the process, are willing to try new things, take the actions required to advance their careers, and dedicate the time and energy involved in the coaching process.

I work with goal-oriented professionals at various stages of their careers who are looking for support to either optimize their current performance and situation, or to explore opportunities that are more in line with their strengths, values, and sense of purpose.

During a typical coaching session, we’ll review your progress since the last session (assuming it’s not your first session), set an agenda for the session so that you have a clear and specific short-term goal that is aligned with your long-term career strategy, and then we’ll dive into what might be holding you back, what skills you’ll need to overcome those obstacles, and design a plan so that you can tackle them to achieve your goals. Every session might be a little different and we’ll incorporate lots of fun tools, but you can expect to have your thoughts and beliefs challenged, and to gain insights into what drives you.

While coaching and therapy share some similarities, therapy often explores the impact of the past on the present and helps move you from dysfunctional to functional. The focus with therapy is on healing. With coaching, you’re already in a place of strength and your coach will help you move from the functional to the optimal - taking you from where you are to where you want to be. Coaching focuses on helping you understand what steps you can take to show up at your job, in your relationships, and in your life in a way that is more satisfying to you.
-
Absolutely! A coaching relationship is based on trust, and confidentiality is a foundation for that trust. Even if I’m coaching you through your organization, what’s shared in our sessions stays in our sessions - Vegas style! (Subject to required disclosures that we will discuss.)

As with many things in life, there are no guarantees. That said, if you put in the work, you should see positive results immediately. You can also be assured that I will be there to support you along this journey you’ve decided to take toward professional satisfaction.
It’s typically recommended that you commit to a full three months of coaching to get the best results. Sessions can either be in person (distance and safety protocols permitting), by video, or by phone, and you should plan to be in a place where you can concentrate and be free of distractions or interruptions.
